BDC Announces the Board of Estimates Approval of OneDo Coffee Roasters at Rash Field Park’s Café Space

Baltimore, MD—The Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), in collaboration with The Waterfront Partnership, announced today that the Board of Estimates has approved the lease for OneDo Coffee Roasters at Rash Field Park’s café space. The new location at the BGE Pavilion, at 300 Key Highway, will span 1,156 square feet and is set to open in Spring 2025. OneDo Coffee Roasters, a minority and women-owned business, currently operates a café and roastery in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore City.

“We are proud to welcome OneDo Coffee Roasters to Rash Field, a valuable amenity addition that will undoubtedly enhance the park experience for local families and visitors alike,” said Dan Taylor, Managing Director of Business and Neighborhood Development at BDC. “This partnership highlights BDC’s continued role in the Inner Harbor’s evolution, our commitment to the ongoing development and revitalization of Rash Field Park, and our unwavering support for local minority-owned businesses.”

With the exception of Made in Baltimore's Home Run Accelerator Pop-up event hosted by BDC, the Pavilion at Rash Field has remained unoccupied since the park's grand opening in 2021. BDC worked diligently to find a tenant who not only met all requirements but also reflected the city's diverse demographics. OneDo Coffee Roasters, with its appropriate menu, solid business plan, sufficient capital, and keen understanding of what’s needed to succeed in this space, presented a proposal that garnered full support from BDC and Baltimore City Recreation and Parks (BCRP).

“We are incredibly excited to bring OneDo Coffee Roasters to Rash Field Park,” said Gloria Hwang, owner of OneDo Coffee Roasters. “This new location gives us the opportunity to connect with a vibrant downtown audience and contribute to the unique character of the Inner Harbor. We are thrilled to be part of this iconic Baltimore destination and look forward to serving both locals and visitors with our carefully crafted coffee and welcoming atmosphere.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with OneDo to provide a great café experience on the waterfront,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore. “With the significant increase in Rash Field Park's daily visitors, this partnership is essential in enriching the waterfront experience for everyone who comes to enjoy this community space.”

The new OneDo Coffee Roasters waterfront location at the BGE Pavilion at Rash Field will offer a wide range of hand-crafted specialty coffees and teas, as well as sandwiches and salads during the day. The new café will provide much-needed food and beverage options for the greater Baltimore community, support the nearby Inner Harbor Marina, and offer a dining solution for the Science Center.
