BDC’s Property Improvement Grants help business and property owners invest in exterior improvements that strengthen commercial districts, enhance curb appeal, and create more vibrant places to do business.
Overview
The Baltimore Development Corporation offers two citywide grant programs that support exterior improvements to commercial properties:
- Facade Improvement Grant (FIG) — Building facades, storefronts, signage, awnings, and exterior improvements.
- Outdoor Spaces Grant (OSG) — Outdoor seating, landscaping, lighting, parklets, and other improvements that activate outdoor space.
Business owners and property owners are eligible to apply.
All grants are reimbursement-based, require approval before work begins, and are subject to available funding.
