The Outdoor Spaces Grant (OSG) provides matching funds to help business and property owners create and improve outdoor spaces that support commercial activity and strengthen neighborhood business districts.

Overview

The Outdoor Spaces Grant supports improvements to outdoor areas that enhance commercial properties, encourage foot traffic, and support private investment.

All grants are reimbursement-based and require approval before work begins. Grant awards are subject to available funding and are made at the sole discretion of BDC.

Eligible Improvements

Funding may be available for eligible outdoor improvements that support commercial use of a property, including:

Seating areas
Landscaping
Lighting
Fencing
Other approved outdoor work

$7,500	$10,000

OSG is a 1:1 matching grant, reimbursed after project completion. Approval is required before work begins.

Wait for grant approval before beginning any work.

Important: Work completed before grant approval is not eligible for reimbursement.
