The Façade Improvement Grant (FIG) provides matching funds to help business and property owners improve the exterior appearance of commercial and industrial properties throughout

Overview

The Façade Improvement Grant supports exterior building improvements that enhance commercial properties, strengthen neighborhood business districts, and encourage private investment.

All grants are reimbursement-based and require approval before work begins. Grant awards are subject to available funding and are made at the sole discretion of BDC.

Eligible Improvements

Funding may be available for eligible exterior improvements, including:

  • Building façades
  • Storefront improvements
  • Signage
  • Awnings
  • Other approved exterior improvements

Several grant options are available depending on the property type.

Important: Work completed before grant approval is not eligible for reimbursement.
